We’re Hiring a Lead Dispatcher – Profitability & Operations

We’re not looking for just a dispatcher or a manager — we’re hiring a growth engineer for the trucking industry.
At FivePlus, this role operates at the decision layer of logistics, bridging dispatch, profitability, and systems design.

Join a company that believes dispatchers are the real growth engineers of the industry.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of trucking economics — beyond Gross or RPM, into true profitability models.

  • Ability to think like a systems engineer: load flow design, capacity management, and risk-adjusted booking.

  • Skilled with data tools — TMS, load boards, Excel modeling, cost-structure analysis, and BI/AI dashboards.

  • Excellent communication under pressure — broker negotiations, driver retention, and conflict resolution.

  • Proven leadership mindset — building SOPs, training teams, and aligning dispatch with long-term business strategy.

What This Role Is/Isn't

  • What This Role IS NOT:

    • Not about chasing loads or reacting to brokers’ pressure.

    • Not about counting miles or endless driver calls.

    • Not “dispatching as usual.”

    What This Role IS:

    • A chance to operate at the decision layer of trucking.

    • To build profitability architecture, not just book freight.

    • To apply engineering logic to one of the toughest, most misunderstood jobs in logistics.

    • To join a company where dispatch equals strategy.

Clients

You’ll work with established U.S. and Canadian carriers operating 50–200 trucks, financially solid and performance-focused.
Our clients value data-driven dispatching, transparent communication, and operational intelligence — not chaos or guesswork.
